DBSK-Dong Bang Shin Ki, has been one of favourite Korean bands. I like Yunho the most. But I still love them all! JJ, Mickey, Junsu and my baby Changmin.

I pasted the article here. Thanks to popseoul.com for providing us with the latest news.
Looks like rumors that the DBSK boys were on the verge of a break wasn’t entirely a mere rumor after all.
It has been reported that three of the five DBSK boys, Jae-joong, Jun-su and Yoo-chun have filed a law-suit against SM Entertainment. It seems that DBSK is unsatisfied with their 13 year “slave” contract with SM Entertainment. Apparently, the profits earned by DBSK is split between the group and SM to a 3:7 ratio, with DBSK only being given a third of profits. In worst cases, the boys are given only 10% of profits they earned for the company. A measly 10-30% for all their hard work! Who wouldn’t want to sue their agency when they get paid so little for all their efforts?!
To make the situation worse, SM Entertainment tried to interfere with Jae-joong, Jun-su and Yoo-chun’s side investment with a Chinese Cosmetic company to launch their own cosmetic brand, “CreBeau“. The reason of SM Entertainment’s interference is due to the “non exclusivity clause” that was signed in their contract. So basically, members are not allowed to work outside of SM and conduct any side projects because it would be breaking the contract. The three members, furious about SM Entertainment’s interference, has been quietly filing a law-suit against SM Entertainment for the past two months, with Jun-su’s father handling most of the issues for the members. It has also been reported that due to Jun-su’s father being involved in the lawsuit, apparently a few SM Entertainment officials have been pestering Jun-su and putting him on the hot seat.
Despite this big mess, it seems that all five members of DBSK actually have no desire to completely break their contract with SM Entertainment, but rather they want the company to revise their contract and give them more benefits and freedom, which boils down to getting rid the “non exclusivity clause” from the contract. On a positive note, it doesn’t seem as though the DBSK members are fighting against each other like certain media outlets in Korea make it seem to be. Although, Yun-ho and Chang-min are not currently filing a suit against SM Entertainment like the other members because of their drama respective drama productions, all five members are currently banding together to form a coup d’etat against SM.
Just a few hours ago, SM Entertainment has released an official statement stating,
In terms of the application for a provisional injunction against SM, DBSK is not an individual or a mere single company but rather a group that represents not only Korea but Asia as a whole. So we feel that DBSK has to resume with all activities. We plan on coming to a deal and settling the situation that has arose because of this cosmetic company.
SM would be stupid to give up a cash cow like DBSK, so of course, it’s in the companies best interests to compromise with the boys. It looks like things will be sort out for the better, as long as SM decides to grant what the boys ask for. But for the time being, all of DBSK’s schedules and notices have been postponed indefinitely until further notice.
