~~Wee~~
Ah! It's been awhile...
Finally, the UPSR result was out last week..
Praise to Allah, we managed to make another unexpected result in Sri Gading.
15 pupils got 5As hehehe~~We break the record AGAIN!!
I was startled at first when my HM called me up that morning.. I was asking him a few times to confirm the actual result.
For English, we managed to mark up the percentage to 89.87% . If we round up the figure, it means that we clearly got 90%..Yeah!
p/s: Kak Lela, the 92% is the benchmark that I'm trying to achieve~U leave behind a very big number for me..hehehe

I LOVE ENGLISH!
http://rlv.zcache.com
Selamat Hari Raya to all muslims around the world.
I finally have the time to sit in front of my laptop n write again..
A few of my friends keep asking me how to polish/improve their English. I said-start your blog today!
Frankly speaking I'm not trying to show off with my English here but I'm trying to improve my English through writing. Although I am an English teacher, but i rarely speak English with my colleagues. Why? Most of them are Malay and I still have inferiority complex within me. Hehehe. I don't care if people criticize on my grammar or sentence structure. This is my blog by the way..

This Feeling Again!
I can't help it, although I look really calm from the outside but inside.. I am really nervous...
My pupils will be sitting for the English UPSR paper on Thursday, but these nerve-wracking feelings had been following me since last week..Argh!
It's not like this is the first time I'm facing this kind of situation but.. Allah knows better..
I'm nervous, excited, afraid, worry... ah! u name it I have it hehehe
Yesterday we had the 'Restu Ilmu', since I am the Year 6 coordinator, I had to do the 'lafaz ijab penyerahan ilmu', I've been practising the text since Saturday and I thought I will be alright on that day. But it turned out differently.. I couldn't hold the tears that flooding in my eyes.. I stopped my speech for a few minutes to calm down. I turned around to pass the text to the senior assistants behind me but they were crying too.. I had no choice but to continue the speech with cracking voice.. hehehe. It's not that the text that made me cried but the moment-that very moment was different, I don't know how to describe it but I'm sure all teachers out there will know the feeling I had on that day.
As time flies, I do realise that being a teacher is the sweetest moment in my life especially when your pupils look up on you as someone really important in their life.
All the best to all teachers and pupils of SK Seri Gading. May Allah blessed us with His kindness and love always...

A letter to Kak Lela
Dear Kak Lela,
I keep asking myself until today, how I was able to sit near you, talk to you and even hug you without shedding any tears last Saturday. Miracle isn't it? Last time we met, during Canteen Day I think, I had to gather my courage to meet you. And as I expected, I couldn't even say hi to you. My tears kept on streaming down my cheeks. Fazlina and I just looking at each other without saying a word. Every time Fazlina asked me to accompany her to your house, I refused. I told her that I'm afraid we'll barely said anything at all there. Hehehe.
Maybe... just maybe.. we meet almost every day here and it makes me feel comfortable again. At least I have someone I could turn too every time I'm stuck in the middle of the lesson. Hehehe. Redzuan has been very helpful all this while, once when he told me he had to go somewhere for a week-my heart ached and I could feel my eyes filled with tears. Suddenly, I felt alone. I think he saw my almost-cry face. Hihihi.. At that time your health wasn't as good as now.
Right now, Kak Aishah is joining our panel permenantly. Yes! Yes! So now there are 4 of us in English panel. Although I'm happy Fazlina had the opportunity to further her study but deep inside my heart-I opposed and she knew it. Hehehe.. Yes, I know I shouldn't, but I have my own reason. Imagine this-you are my right hand and Fazlina is my left. So when you are not around at least I have my other half. But when she's also not here... mmm you know what I mean right? And again lucky enough Redzuan is here to lend a hand although he's also suffering with his kidney but he's trying his very best to help me. Alhamdulillah.. We managed to settle the SBOA together-Fazlina, we can survived without you!! Hehehe.. I really hope Redzuan will stay as he is now in the future. That is my Doa everyday. And hopefully he's not gonna transfer to Kedah when he gets marry.
Akak, you don't have to worry. Insya Allah we'll be alright. You'll be our Nazir from afar. Hehehe.. and also my walking dictionary. (^-^). I think I'll stop here now. Until next time..

Arghhh!
Oopps! I'm not really in pain but I'm really tired.
Last week was a very hectic week. We had 2 programs running on Saturday and Sunday. As I was responsible for 2 presentations on Sunday, so... I skipped the gotong-royong on Saturday. Hehehe. But... I still had to come to school since I had to teach the Year 6 Hikmah classes. (Ermm.. sama jugak kan). The 1st presentation was for Audit Akademik where I need to prepare 5 graphs and pupils' ranking for 4 subjects. (Berpinar2 mata) The other one was for Jejak Ikon where I need to prepare a slide show of our PPD. Jejak Ikon is same as alumni where we trace all the successful people that the school had ever produced, invite them to the school and introduce them to the pupils and parents as motivation and... hopefully they will contribute something to our school. Hehehe.. actually that is the main purpose of this program. Since he's a busy person, my reporters were able to meet him on Wednesday. They gave me the complete materials-biodata n pictures, on Thursday, I only have 2 days to prepare! I decided to use powerpoint instead of movie maker. Easier and less hassle.

Two days working non-stop my school lappy suddenly merajuk. My presentation didn't come out as I want it to be. Ya Allah, memang menguji kesabaran. I had to transfer everything to my own lappy. Fortunately it run smoothly and my beloved lappy didn't hang at all. Muah! TQ my dear laptop. This week we have our 3rd monthly test. Ah.. another marking session...Wednesday, July 29, 2009
This is the second part of TKRS n Scouts activities for this month.
Fuh! Finally, I'm able to upload all pictures here.
I'm sure most of u are familiar with this song,
Lastly, the final game-Goreng Pisang. A very educational game. I'm sure u all know how the game was played..
The last word from the girls was sepet but the boys said it was kopet.. so the GIRLS won!!!
I guess they were having so much fun including the teachers! Hehehe
Fuh! Finally, I'm able to upload all pictures here.
Before we proceeded with the activities, we sang the National and Johore anthems. After learning the basic command in marching, the pupils started their 'Masakan Rimba' activity. Then, they had to gather again at the school compound and proceed with the second activity.
We started off with a song.
We started off with a song.
I'm sure most of u are familiar with this song,
Sorry.... The quality of the video is quite low, but u still can hear them clearly right? So, is that song ring a bell? We did four versions-Malay, English, Chinese and Indian.
After that, we played a very simple game called 'Freeze'. The pupils had to move around and be still-unmoved when they were told to.

This boy-Danisy is simple remarkable. Why? Because he can stay freezing like that for quite a long time. Just like a statue..
Guess what are they doing? They were imitating a herd of elephants! They had to walk around the circle and the others sang the elephant's song-Apabila bunga kembang berseri, seekor gajah keluar menari, lenggok ke kanan dan lenggok ke kiri, jemput seekor keluar menari. They were being punished for laughing in the freezing game.

Japan was very aggresive and they won the game

The third game was 'Bomb Ke BaBomb' (hehehe sendiri bg nama, suka-suka je kan) In this game, the pupils were divided into 4 groups. They had to choose a country each to represent their groups. The main objective of the games was to destroy the weakest group. How? They had to decide which group they wanted to throw their bomb to. They started like this, "Japan bomb Japan Bomb to Malaysia bomb" and as fast as lightning Malaysia had to response by bombing the other groups or returned the bomb to Japan. If they failed, they were considered destroyed....
China lost the battle to Malaysia hehehe...

Masakan Rimba?
Well.. Our TKRS (Tunas Kadet Remaja Sekolah) and Scouts were trying out the activity called 'Masakan Rimba'-emm what do we called it in English huh? Oh.. never mind, I just like to share some of the pictures I had taken today..
It was quite fascinating to see since I have never had the opportunity to try it out before.. They had to bring a few fresh potatoes and eggs as they had to make baked potatoes n eggs. How they did it? They were divided into 10 groups consist of 9 pupils each. They also had to bring a bundle of sticks on their own. The teachers assisted them to make a fire. Then, they had to find some mud to cover the eggs as to prevent them from breaking while being burnt. They really made a good job!
Group 6-My group
(Although they could survive without my assistance, they still claimed that I'm in their group. TQ my dear pupils)

These were the outcomes of the activity from Group 6. Impressive huh!

Group 6 were trying out their baked potatoes n eggs!

Cikgu Baharudin couldn't stand it anymore.. Had to have one too hehehe

Well-done baked egg! The one and only. The rest-cracking, half-cooked, missing-in-action. Hehehe
